This policy covers this website. The products have their own policies where they need one — the MailMerge Splitter policy is separate, because the application processes documents on your computer and that deserves its own explanation.

What this site collects

Only what you type into the contact form: name, e-mail address, subject and message. The name, the address and the message are required; the subject is not.

That form does one thing with them: it sends them to us by e-mail. Nothing is written to the site database. There is no record of your message on this server — it lives in our mailbox, like any other e-mail, and we keep it for as long as the conversation is useful.

Your IP address

When you send the form, your IP address is used to stop the same visitor sending several messages a minute. It is not stored: what is kept is a one-way hash of it, for sixty seconds, and then it is gone. The address itself is never written down.

What your browser keeps

• lgs-theme — your light or dark choice, in the browser local storage. It never leaves your machine and we never read it.
• pll_language — a cookie set by the multilingual plugin so the site remembers which language you were reading.

Nothing else. No advertising cookies, no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

What this site does not do

• No analytics — no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no pixels, no tags.
• No fonts from an external service. They are served from this server, so no third party learns that you visited.
• No content from social networks, no embedded trackers.
• Nothing is shared, sold or handed to anyone for marketing.

Where the data is

The site and the mailbox that receives your message are both hosted in the European Union.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to us keeping it. Write to support@lg-systems.net and we answer within a few days. In practice, on this site, the answer is normally one e-mail thread — that is all there is.

If you think we are handling your data badly, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.
