MontraFolio
Image portfolios for organisations. Every user can have one of their own, staff run shared portfolios with designated contributors, and the images stay in a private folder — never in the Media Library.

A site where every person has a portfolio of their own usually means putting everyone’s photographs in the Media Library, where anyone with access to the back office sees all of them. MontraFolio does not do that: the images live in a folder the web server does not serve, and the plugin checks who may see each one before it hands it over.

The useful details
Private by construction
Nothing goes to the Media Library. Files live in a folder the web server does not serve, and the plugin checks who may see each image before delivering it.
Portfolio, collection, image
A portfolio has one owner and any number of collections; each collection holds images and can be visible or hidden.
Mobile first
Uploads from the camera or the phone gallery, images resized on the device, reorder by touch, carousel by swipe. Dragging a folder on a desktop feeds the same pipeline.
Tiles or carousel
Each collection shows its images both ways: visitors switch between them, and the collection decides which modes exist and which opens first.
Owners and contributors
One owner administers a portfolio; contributors publish in the collections they were given, or in all of them.
Limits at four levels
The site sets what a new portfolio is born with; the portfolio carries its own ceilings, a collection may narrow them, and a contributor may be narrowed further. No level ever grants more than the one above, and lowering a limit deletes nothing.
Videos among the images
Paste an address from YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion or TikTok and it takes its place in the same order, with the same caption. Only the thumbnail is stored here, and by default the page contacts nobody until a visitor presses play.
